We are recruiting on behalf of a Nursery in West Derby, Liverpool who are seeking a full time Nursery Manager.

Overview:

We believe in nurturing the minds and spirits of young children in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. We are a well-established nursery, with over 20 years’ experience, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Our team is passionate about fostering a love of learning through play and exploration, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of care and education. As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.

About Us:

  • We have been established for 24 years and passionate about nurturing young minds- based in West Derby, Liverpool.
  • Around 15 staff on roll- mixture of part time and full time staff members. Have the capacity to grow to around 20 staff members.
  • Around 100 children on roll. Currently running around 40% of full capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and motivate a team of early childhood educators, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
  • Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, staff scheduling, and enrolment processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant qualification in early childhood education (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Early Years Degree, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within an early years setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
