The Education Specialists

Are you seeking a work as a PE Teacher?  We are recruiting on behalf of one of the most supportive schools we work with in Rochdale require a qualified PE Teacher to cover KS3 and KS4 classes. The PE Teacher appointed will be required to undertake all aspects of the role including practical and classroom teaching. The role would ideally suit an individual who is keen to secure a long term role in an established department and to work as part of a successful teaching team to maintain and increase pupil attainment. The candidate will be asked to supervisor changing rooms as key part of their role.

Candidates will be responsible for:

  • Working in partnership with TA’s and other members of the department to contribute to the overall success of the pupils.
  • Supporting pupils during exam practicals.
  • Direction of teaching assistants/learning support.
  • Classroom/Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures.

Information about the role:

  • Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS or equivalent and have experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
  • The school will consider applications from Early Career Teachers.
  • This role commences in September
  • Salary is £100-£180 per day depending on experience.
