The Education Specialist

Do you have experience of supporting students with complex needs in a Special School?

Have you supported students who require personal care or PEG Feeding?

The Education Specialists are working with a ‘Outstanding’ Special Needs School in the Southport area. The school provides education for students from Foundation Stage to Post 16. A full curriculum is on offer concentrating on Communication, Emotional Well-being and understanding Community. Fully equipped with a sensory room and swimming pool experience of supporting students in these environments would be desirable but is not essential. However experience of supporting Children or adults with complex needs is essential for this role and you must have a child & Adult workforce DBS or be willing to obtain one through ourselves.

The successful candidate will feel confident in offering personal care when required with all age groups. Experience of Peg/tube feeding would be desirable but is not essential as full training would be offered by the school if needed.

Both part-time and full-time hours are available on a term-time basis. Successful candidates may be required to work on a one to one basis, or within the classroom environment. This is a busy school and the right candidate will want to fully engage themselves into school life.

  • Child & Adult Workforce DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one through ourselves
