The Education Specialist

The Educations Specialist are acting as a recruitment business, recruiting on behalf of a faith primary school based in the Liverpool area. The school provides education for young people aged 4 – 11. The school is a forward-thinking environment providing a high standard of education for all.

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to supporting a pupil in Year 6. The pupil is at Year 4 levels with developmental delay. The successful TA needs to be competent in writing and phonics.

Responsibilities of the role will include;

  • Supporting the pupil to complete set tasks within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Promoting independence within the school environment.
  • Developing confidence of the pupil
  • Implementing and maintaining learning strategies.
  • Supporting pupils to achieve their individual education targets
  • Working in partnership with teachers and other TA’s to provide a stable, positive environment for learning.
  • Supervising community activities with the pupils.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am – 15.30pm

This role commences immediately and will continue until Christmas.

Successful candidates will be required to hold, or apply for, an enhanced DBS and be subject to safeguarding and vetting checks.
