Government plans to re-open schools

Boris Johnson unveiled plans to his rebuild and re-open strategy over the coming months after the Covid-19 peak.

Schools seem a major priority, with plans in place to re-open early years settings, primary schools for reception, year 1 and year 6 children by June the 1st and then with a view to getting all primary school children back into school before the summer break.

Secondary schools should also prepare to have some face to face to face time with Years 10 and 12.

Plans are underway to re-open some colleges in June.

The detailed document publicised on the 12th May outlines a process to re-open businesses across the UK in the coming months.
