We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wavertree, Liverpool.

About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
  • Assessing, monitoring and recording pupil progress to ensure children achieve their learning objectives.
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning requirements.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO and other staff to support pupils with additional needs.
  • Contributing to curriculum development, staff meetings and the wider life of the school.
  • Maintaining high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Has excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Can plan creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Is committed to inclusion and supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Is reflective, adaptable and committed to their own professional development.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
