The Education Specialists are working in partnership with a range of well established secondary schools across Oldham to recruit confident, reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors.
We have a variety of Cover Supervisor roles available, offering excellent opportunities for individuals looking to gain valuable experience working within a secondary school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide classroom cover across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused and on task.
Our partner schools offer supportive working environments, strong behaviour policies and dedicated staff teams, making these roles ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors as well as candidates looking to develop their experience within secondary education.
Secondary School Cover Supervisor Benefits

• £110 – £130 per day, dependent on experience

Secondary School Cover Supervisor Role Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a school or educational setting
• Confident managing a classroom independently
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach
• Ability to follow lesson plans and school procedures effectively
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists

The Successful Cover Supervisor Will

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Support a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong professional relationships with pupils and school staff
• Adapt effectively to different school environments and classroom situations
