The Education Specialist

Job title: Secondary Supply Teacher

The Education Specialists is seeking a flexible and confident Secondary Supply Teacher to provide general classroom cover in a well-regarded secondary school in Crewe, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, delivering lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary Supply Teacher looking for a consistent role in Crewe.

Secondary Supply Teacher role requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists

The successful Secondary Supply Teacher will:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
