SEMH Teaching Assistant – Secondary ProvisionAre you a resilient, caring and supportive Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with young people?

We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who understands that positive relationships, consistency and high warmth can make a real difference to a young person’s confidence, wellbeing and ability to engage in learning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs.

• Can remain calm and positive when faced with challenging situations.
• Supports pupils to develop confidence, independence and emotional regulation.
• Encourages engagement in learning and celebrates individual progress.
• Works collaboratively with teachers and the wider pastoral and support team.
• Understands the importance of boundaries, consistency and positive reinforcement.
